Rotary Club of Pune Shivajinagar is known and appreciated for its mega projects like Industrial Fairs and District Enkankika. Through constant innovation, we are consistently delivering and doing good for society.
Having said this, there are many clubs within our district and beyond who are successfully running some flagship projects.
Through “Beyond Boundaries” we would like to bring glimpses of such projects which will be an inspiration and motivation for us in the coming years!!

Rotary Club of Nasik
Rotary club of Nasik is one of the oldest clubs in India. It received the charter in 1945 that is 2 years before the independence. Since past 77+ years RCN is seen huge difference in the community due to its contribution in all fields of life. While planning the projects and programs, it follows the guideline given by Rotary International including 7 focus areas, 5 avenues of service, 4 way test, 12 months themes and many more
Some of the key project completed by Club are as under.
Some important projects undertaken by the club
Organic Bazar – For giving platform to organic farmers, every Sunday organic Bazaar was organized by our club from 9 am to 12 noon. Minimum 50 to 100 customers purchased the organic veg for good health of the families.
Solar street lights – Along with CSR Partner we distributed 18 Solar Street lights worth 3 Lac , in tribal Hamlets where there was problem of electricity at night and mishaps due to wild animals.
Smokeless chullah – In tribal Hamlets women cook meals on challahs by burning wood from trees and get exposed to extensive smoke causing respiratory problems. Along with CSR Partner we distributed 250 smoke less chullas and protected environment from tree cutting and less smoke generation as well as taking care of good health of the women.
Solar lamp at darewadi – Knowing the need of mobile light in tribal hamlet of Darewadi We distributed 12 Solar portable lights to families staying in remote huts at Darewadi.
Turbo ventilators– In a ashram shala of Dhondegaon looking at the poor unhygienic and crowded staying condition of the girls students, we along with CSR Partner installed 4 turbo vetilators for fresh air and net for protection from mosquito , worth 2 Lacs rs.
Educational material School at Ozar – There was demand of educational material by ZP school in Ozar like green board, TV set , Ceiling Fans and games.
Wall painting in the city– For Environment protection messages, cleanliness practices we along with NMC and CSR Company Rotaractors and Interactors jointly conducted wall painting drive in the city with more than 1400 sq ft area and 26 walls being painted.
